I remain the same

I was supposed to get my hip replaced today, but yesterday at the doctor's office he changed our plans. He thought it a better idea to take Tylenol for pain until it becomes unbearable. I don't like taking medicine, but I guess I'll do it. I would have tried it before if he had actually mentioned it before. There were several new things, or things he put in a new light yesterday. It upset me, not that I'm not having surgery, but that I had so little notice. The last doctor appointment gave us, especially my parents the impression that surgery was the best idea. I don't like having me and my family pulled around.
Anyway, I still had my party. It was good fun, and I managed to tell just about everyone I wasn't having surgery. It still was awkward when people showed up with gifts.

Camp

For the Second Year running, I attended NSSME. This is roughly what the sign on my door at UMD looked like, and I was very proud. Enjoy.

The Camp is somewhat difficult to explain to anyone who hasn't been there, but it is a lot of fun. We sing. A lot. I had a solo again this year, in an almost identical song.
I other news Tuesday is my surgery. I'm getting my hip replaced. I don't particularly look forward to it, but I this it will make my life Easier. C'est la vie. Anyway, swimming and bonfire Monday starting at four as a little celebration before the big day.

Camp approaches

NSSME is just around the corner. Last year it was a lot of fun, and I hope it will be again this year. Lots of good people to become acquainted and reacquainted with. Hopefully, Alisha is going to come to the concerts in Duluth. I would like to have her there, after coming to a concert choir concert, she deserves to hear a really good choir.
I have been doing the play at the Civic Theatre. The Girls in 509. Odd, but funny, play. I had a bonfire Wendsday night, and I was impressed with the turnout. Several people showed up that I had no way to contact. It was good fun. We are cleaning our pool diligently. It was disgusting when we first opened it up Tuesday.
11 days until I go under the knife.
