The Calm Before the Storm

Batten down the hatches, Boys. Square the rigging and trim the jib. Its now Sunday, and the "bust yer nuts" practices start tomorrow. this is going to be a tough week, and we have a long way to go, but i remain optimistic. We have the ability to pull it off, what remains to be seen is if we have the will. Its going to be a long, long week. I hope I make it.

(sorry for the bad sailing jargon.)

Fishing and Photoshop

I spent last weekend by Deerwood MN, fishing. Saturday was nothing. Very dissapointing. Sunday, my dad and I each caught a pair of bass. my first one hit so quick i thought i had snagged. That was more fun. The couple we stayed with is 90 and 88 years old, but great people to stay with.
anyway...
I was playing with photoshop the other night, and this is what i made. enjoy.

Mental Music

The strangest thing happened as I went to sleep last night. I heard a song in my head. It wasn't like I thought I heard the radio playing, or like i was going over a song in my head. It was a song I had never heard before, but I would like to hear again. Appearently, when I imagine music, I don't go half way. This song was 4-part harmony, although I believe it was a capella. The song made me think of love, but not so much romantic love, as love in general. Strangly, I thought I recognized some of the voices singing, like Robert, Brian, and, of all people, Danielle Storm. Odd.
Thats enough ramble for one day.
